BAPE Revisits the adidas Superstar

Over the span of multiple decades, the partnership between BAPE and adidas has resulted in numerous unique footwear collaborations. The iconic Superstar model has undergone several transformations as a result, with one example being a BOOST-infused version created in collaboration with fellow Japanese label NEIGHBORHOOD.

The dynamic duo of BAPE and adidas have returned with a new interpretation of their iconic shell toe sneaker, available in two colorways – “Footwear White” and “Blue”. Each pair showcases the BAPE STA emblem on the right shoe and the classic Three Stripes on the left. The patent leather accents are black and white respectively, complementing a co-branded golden dubrae and the lateral heel’s foil APE HEAD branding. The look is completed with a simple off-white sole unit and an embossed camo pattern adorning the base of the leather upper.

As of now, neither BAPE nor adidas has announced the release date for their new versions of the Superstar silhouette. Keep an eye out for announcements as we anticipate that both the “Footwear White” and “Blue” colorways will be available together this season, through both BAPE and adidas.
