Bandai Namco announces Kingdom: Hadou, a strategy simulation title with closed beta test in Japan on January 2025

Story Highlights

  • Kingdom: Hadou is an hyper-authentic strategy simulation game set in the stunning world of the Kingdom anime.
  • The game beautifully recreates 3D maps of iconic battlefields from the anime, including the Dakan Plains and Hangu Pass.
  • The game was showcased at Jump Festa 2025, featuring characters such as Shin, Kyou Kai, Karyo Ten and more.

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the announcement of Kingdom: Hadou has me absolutely thrilled! Having grown up watching the Kingdom anime and playing countless strategy games, this title seems like a perfect blend of both worlds.

Bandai Namco recently announced their upcoming strategy simulation game, titled “Kingdom: Hadou”, which is set to conduct a closed beta testing phase for Android and iOS devices in Japan between mid-to-late January 2025. Developed by Koei Tecmo, this new game belongs to the “Kingdom” series and invites players to apply for the beta test until January 2, 2025.

Kingdom: Hadou aims to bring hyper-authentic strategy gameplay

Game: Hadou is an immersive strategy simulation titled “Kingdom”, where you become a commander navigating the captivating realm of Kingdom. In this experience, you’ll command various terrains such as forests and hills, employing unique characters hailing from the Kingdom anime series – these are your Warlords. You will strategize and triumph over adversaries using their distinct abilities.

A new app for smartphones titled “Kingdom Conquest” has been decided to be produced! 📱⚔️ #KingdomConquest is a strategic simulation game.

The gameplay appears fun and captivating, as it lets you collaborate with other players in a shared military endeavor, moving forward together. You’ll have the chance to challenge others for control over castles and strongholds scattered across various landscapes while expanding your army. Frankly, I can’t wait to level up and claim the title of Supreme General of the Land, once the game is released.

I’m thrilled about the upcoming game, where iconic anime battlefields such as Dakan Plains and Hangu Pass will be recreated as immersive 3D maps for epic battles. Characters like Shin, Kyou Kai, Karyo Ten, and others, who were first revealed at Jump Festa 2025, will also be part of the game. But what truly excites me is the massive 30v30 Siege Battles that occur within castles and fortresses across the nation. I can’t wait to give the Siege Towers a try as well!

The game is scheduled to launch a closed beta test, with recruitment available now

I’m excited to share that the game I’ve been eagerly anticipating is gearing up for a closed beta test, tentatively set for mid to late January coming up. The developers have officially kicked off the application process for this test, and here’s a sneak peek at what they’re looking for:

Please be aware that the application period could shift or end prematurely without advanced warning, so it’s best to apply promptly if you’re eager to participate in the game. The specific dates for the Closed Beta Test have not been revealed yet. Furthermore, if the quantity of applicants surpasses the 5,000 cap, a random selection process will be employed to choose participants.
