The chance to lead armies across diverse battlefields and utilize iconic Warlords from the series is simply exhilarating!

Bandai Namco has unveiled their upcoming strategy simulation game titled “Kingdom: Hadou”, a project from Koei Tecmo set within the “Kingdom” series. The closed beta testing for this Android and iOS game is scheduled for mid-to-late January 2025 in Japan. Applicants can submit their interest for participation before January 2, 2025.

Game: Hadou is an immersive strategy simulation titled Kingdom, where you take on the role of a commanding officer, or General. Navigate through various battlefield terrains such as forests and hills, all while employing unique characters from the popular Kingdom anime series to devise strategies that will lead to victory against your adversaries.

The gameplay appears fun and immersive as it lets you collaborate with other players under the same banner, progressing together in a common cause. You’ll have the chance to battle for control over various castles and forts spread across multiple maps, all while expanding your army. In this game, I’m planning on working hard enough to claim the title of Supreme Commander of the Land, once it goes live.

I am looking forward to battles on iconic battlefields from the anime, like the Dakan Plains and Hangu Pass, brought to life as engaging 3D maps. The game also features stunning characters like Shin, Kyou Kai, Karyo Ten, and more, unveiled at the Jump Festa 2025. However, the best part of the game for me will be the large-scale 30v30 Siege Battles, which will take place in castles and fortresses across the country. I am also excited to try out the Siege Towers.

The game is preparing for a closed beta test, which is set to begin around mid-January or a bit later in the upcoming new year. At present, developers are actively recruiting participants for this test. Here’s a summary of the process:

Application period: You can now apply for the test, which will be open till January 2, 2025.
Process: To apply, you have to fill in the required information on the application form.
Number of Applicants: Only 5,000 players will be selected for this test.
Supported system: This beta test will be available for Android and iOS only.
