On November 5th, Balatro hinted at a possible partnership with Pokemon in a post on X, asking, “Who’s the Pokemon?” accompanied by an image of what seems to be a Balatro joker character transformed into a Pokemon. The phrase “Coming Soon” at the top of the post suggests that we can expect more details about this collaboration soon.

This partnership is being facilitated by Makeship, a company known for creating themed plushies based on various gaming and entertainment properties in the past. Consequently, it’s likely that this collaboration will result in a unique combination of Pokemon characters with the Balatro Joker mascot, potentially leading to the creation of a plushie featuring a Pokemon version of the Balatro Joker, such as a Mr. Mime Balatro Joker toy.
