In the nomination count, both Mr. Bates and The Post Office as well as the Disney series Rivals and Apple TV’s Slow Horses each received six nods.

Among the nominees for top entertainment performances are Ant and Dec, The Traitors, and Stacey Solomon’s Life-Changing Mission.

A well-known actor, Danny Dyer, has earned his initial BAFTA nomination in the Best Male Comedy Performance category, thanks to his role in the series titled Mr. Bigstuff.

In the illustrious Best Drama Category, crime dramas “Blue Lights” and “Sherwood” will compete against popular superhero series “Supacell” and critically-acclaimed period drama “Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light”.

Jane Millichip, Bafta’s CEO, remarked that the year 2024 was exceptional in television, as evidenced by the 134 outstanding programs put forward for consideration by Bafta members.
