Bad Sisters season 2 gets release date – and it’s soon

As a seasoned gamer of dark comedies and thrillers, I eagerly await the return of “Bad Sisters” on Apple TV+! With my years of binge-watching shows under my belt, I can confidently say that this series has quickly become one of my favorites for its witty dialogue, intricate plotlines, and an ensemble cast that delivers stellar performances.

Bad Sisters season 2 has been given a release date on streaming service Apple TV+.

The witty, suspenseful mix-up returns for a second round on Wednesday, November 13. This time, it will air two episodes initially. Subsequently, a new episode will be released every Wednesday, culminating in the season finale on Christmas Day.

The finale of Season 1 unveiled that Grace was responsible for killing her husband, John Paul, and with Roger’s assistance, staged his death as an accident. In Season 2, we find ourselves two years later, with the main characters, the Garvey sisters, having made significant strides in their lives and moved forward.

The tranquility won’t endure, as the official summary hints that: “Old truths come back to haunt them, pushing the women back into the limelight. Suspicions run deep, falsehoods are spoken, secrets are disclosed, and the sisters must determine who they can rely on.”

Upon announcing the second season of “Bad Sisters”, its creator and leading actress Sharon Horgan shared that she hadn’t anticipated the show’s success and the warm welcome it received during its first season.

“She remarked that the reaction to our performance surpassed all expectations, providing us with an exceptional stage to highlight tales often overlooked on a worldwide scale.”

Back a few months ago, I learned that the show, Motherland, which is Sharon Horgan’s creation, won’t be returning for a fourth season. It’s quite disappointing as I was looking forward to more of its hilarious episodes.

However, it’s not all bad news, as a six-part spin-off called Amandaland is on the way. It’ll focus on Lucy Punch’s character Amanda following her divorce, and heavily feature Joanna Lumley as her mother.

The second season of “Bad Sisters” will debut on Apple TV+ this coming Wednesday, 13th November. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can catch up with season 1 right now!
