The 30-date residency is anticipated to significantly increase tourism and generate numerous job opportunities. Hotel bookings were made six months in advance after Benito announced the residency in January, leading to a hotel occupancy rate that reached nearly 70% this summer and a 20% rise in September compared to the previous year. Moreover, flight searches to Puerto Rico have seen a 12% increase.
