Bad Bunny joins ‘Toy Story 5’ voice cast as a fashionable pizza toy

I was so excited to hear that Bad Bunny is joining the cast of “Toy Story 5“! Apparently, he’s going to voice a brand new character named Pizza with Sunglasses – how cool is that? I can’t wait to see what kind of personality he brings to the role.

Disney and Pixar announced the Grammy winner’s inclusion in the movie Tuesday afternoon.

I’m really intrigued by the character the ‘Nuevayol’ singer is playing! They’re described as being effortlessly cool and mysterious, which already has me hooked. But what really grabbed me is that they’re part of this tiny, hidden community of forgotten toys living in an old backyard shed. It sounds so charming and a little bit melancholic – I can’t wait to see how that plays out.

I’m so excited! Residente, the amazing Puerto Rican rapper, is making his first movie, called ‘Porto Rico,’ and it’s going to dive into the history of Puerto Rico and its colonial past. Even better, Bad Bunny is going to be the main actor! I can’t wait to see it.

The voice cast already features well-known stars like Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, and Wallace Shawn. Joining them in this installment are new faces including Bad Bunny, Conan O’Brien, Craig Robinson, and Greta Lee, who will play Lilypad, the film’s main villain – a clever tablet that could make the other toys outdated.

This is Bad Bunny’s first time doing voice work, but he’s previously collaborated with the ‘Toy Story’ franchise. He’s joining the long-running animated series as a voice actor.

I stumbled upon this really charming series Bad Bunny created during the early days of the pandemic. Stuck at home like the rest of us, he started making these little videos using his “Toy Story” toys. He called it “Toy Story in the Times of Coronavirus,” and honestly, it was a delightful escape. What really struck me was his voice work – he completely transformed himself, doing all these exaggerated voices for Woody, Buzz, Rex, and even Forky. It was surprisingly funny and showcased a side of him I hadn’t seen before!
