The Backstreet Boys are making a comeback this summer, performing nine shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas!

At the Grammy Museum, visitors can now have a unique experience of virtually interacting with the Backstreet Boys, though they will appear as holograms instead of in person.

On Instagram on Wednesday, the group announced they’re returning to “Millennium” times once more! Revisit your Backstreet Boys nostalgia from the Y2K era, but this time it will be even bigger than before, starting at @SphereVegas in July!

The band members AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, and Nick Carter (who have had their fair share of challenges) are planning to revive their 1999 album, known for hits such as “I Want It That Way,” “Larger Than Life,” “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely,” and “The One.” The original boy band has now grown into men, and it’s likely that their initial passionate fanbase is now made up of moms who are ready to take their kids on a trip to Vegas.

Fans are in for a treat as the Backstreet Boys reprise their iconic ‘Millennium’ album and perform some of their most popular songs, all while being amplified by state-of-the-art visuals and sound provided by Sphere’s advanced immersive technology. Anticipated favorites like ‘I Want It That Way,’ and ‘Larger Than Life,’ will be presented in a fresh, modern way.” (Concert producer Live Nation)

The “Into the Millennium” concerts are scheduled for July 11-13, 18-20, and 25-27. Fans who want to attend can register for the artist pre-sale until Monday. The Backstreet Boys Fan Club pre-sale starts on Tuesday and will be followed by more presales. The general sale commences on Feb. 21, with all tickets available at backstreetboys.com.

After performances by U2, Phish, the Eagles, Dead & Company, and Anyma, it’s now the Backstreet Boys’ turn to perform at The Sphere. Additionally, country artist Kenny Chesney will be setting up a 15-show residency at The Sphere from May to June.

At the turn of the millennium, a Grammy-nominated band dominated the airwaves and MTV’s “Total Request Live” with their hit music. In 2019, they put out their 10th studio album titled “DNA,” which was followed by their largest arena tour in 18 years – the DNA World Tour. Moreover, they unveiled their first-ever Christmas album, “A Very Backstreet Christmas,” during fall 2023.
