Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd puts his stunning Santa Barbara pad on the market for $6.4M

The well-established actor, Christopher Lloyd, has put up for sale the Santa Barbara home he shares with his wife, Lisa Loiacono, for a price tag of $6 million.

Instead of saying “The 86-year-old Back to the Future sensation is parting with the 2,880-sq-ft property eight years after buying it,” you could rephrase it as:

“Eight years after purchasing, the 86-year-old owner of a 2,880-square-foot property, famously known for Back to the Future, is now selling the home.”

This version maintains the same meaning while providing a more natural and easy-to-read sentence structure.

In simpler terms, Christopher and his 55-year-old wife, who got married in 2016, renovated the large property they bought in 2017.

The luxurious ocean-facing property is up for sale at a price of $6,385,000, represented by real estate agents Ron Brand and Arthur Kalayjian from Compass.

Among the home’s many perks is a detached one-bedroom guest suite.

The extra space boasts its own living room and office, offering a private retreat for visitors.

The modern, one-story house is situated atop a secluded, gated hill in Montecito, as per the property listing online.

Inhabitants can savor Pacific Ocean, Channel Islands, and Santa Barbara views.

The description further hints at effortlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces, achieved through expansive, full-height glass windows.

Built in 2006, the idyllic mansion features a breakfast bar, hardwood floors, and a media room.

Two years ago, on August 13, 2023, the cast of Back to the Future got together for a group photo, which was subsequently shared online.

Christopher posted the fun photo, challenging followers to get the post to 88K likes.

Fans surpassed the modest figure, and the post received over 250K likes in a day’s time.

The photograph features Michael J. Fox, renowned for his role as Marty McFly in the hit sci-fi series, and Lea Thompson, who portrayed Lorraine in the initial installments of the franchise.

Tom Wilson, who played bully Biff Tannen, was also in the nostalgic photo op.

The first Back to the Future film was released 40 years ago in 1985.

The comedy franchise was created by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale.

The story unfolds around Marty McFly, a typical high school student, and Dr. Emmett ‘Doc’ Brown, a mad-scientist type, as they embark on thrilling journeys through time using a DeLorean time machine, exploring various eras in the fictional town of Hill Valley, California.

In 1985, the initial film in the series broke box office records worldwide, earning it the title of highest-grossing movie of the year. This massive success paved the way for two sequels: Back to the Future Part II, released in 1989, and Back to the Future Part III, which followed in 1990.
