A well-known TV personality is in legal trouble, accused of trying to start a fire and attacking a police officer.
Cayla Tudehope, a 34-year-old who was on the 2018 season of The Bachelor, went to court in Maroochydore on Tuesday.
She was accused of several crimes, including trying to set a fire in Nambour, a town on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.
Cayla was accused of intentionally starting a fire at a healthcare building on December 11th.
Cayla was also accused of using a Telstra phone service that day in a way that most people would consider threatening, harassing, or upsetting.
Cayla was also accused of attacking a police officer while they were performing their job. This led to a serious assault charge against her.

Oh my gosh, apparently something else happened on December 11th too! It was up at Yandina Creek, which is this beautiful, secluded spot in the Sunshine Coast hinterland… I’ve been researching everything about that day, and it’s just… unbelievable.
She was granted bail and all three matters were adjourned until February 2, 2026.
Cayla appeared on Channel 10’s dating show with contestants like Brittany Hockley and Brooke Blurton, but she didn’t find love with Nick Cummins, nicknamed ‘Honey Badger’.
Although things didn’t click with Nick, the energy healer and jewelry designer definitely left a memorable impression.
She immediately became the center of attention when she shared that she’d previously ‘predicted’ she would end up with Nick.
A woman with brown hair entered, carrying a rose quartz crystal that she believed would help her find love and get married.
She gave it to Nick as soon as she met him, and he seemed very confused by her strange behavior.
She handed me the item, explaining, ‘I originally owned this, but I want to give it to you as a good luck charm for your trip.’

She handed me the gift and with a knowing smile, told me she’d put a little wish into it – that it would help me find the woman I’m meant to spend my life with. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture, and honestly, it meant the world to me.
A surprised Honey Badger commented that Cayla is truly unique and will bring something new and exciting to the competition. He joked that her addition might be overwhelming for his senses.
After her Bachelor exit, Cayla revealed on social media that she had long struggled with anxiety.
Cayla explained in a now-deleted Instagram post that she can’t control her anxiety, as it’s caused by life events that are outside of anyone’s control.
This makes us feel deeply uncomfortable and anxious when we worry excessively about things we can’t change, whether they’re happening now or might happen later.
I’ve been following this reality star for a while now, and I really appreciated her advice on dealing with anxiety. She basically said that the key is to go with the flow more and trust that things will work out – to let go of trying to control everything and have faith in the universe. It’s a simple idea, but it’s really resonated with me.
This is achieved by building mental resilience – developing skills to prevent anxiety from starting, or to cope with it effectively when it does.
After a short appearance on a reality TV show, Cayla has gradually become less involved with social media.
She spends most of her time online promoting her crystal jewellery business, Loveloons.
