Bachelor In Paradise Contestant Finally Addresses The Potential Of Age-Gap Romances As Goldens Join The Spinoff

As we inch towards the 2025 TV lineup with “Bachelor in Paradise” making its return, we’re gradually uncovering details for Season 10. A leaked video has given us a sneak peek at some cast members, and the production team has shifted to Costa Rica under new management. Yet, one big question lingers: Could it be possible that we might witness Goldens dating younger castmates? One contestant has bravely addressed this issue.

It’s already been reported that contestants from the Goldens are appearing in Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise. With the confirmation that castoffs from the main shows would also be there, fans of Bachelor Nation have been curious if they were there to date and if we might witness a romance between individuals with an age gap. However, Gary Levingston clarified this notion in an interview with The Desert Sun, stating emphatically that it was not the case.

It’s clear as day, and there’s no need for doubt, we have no intention whatsoever of courting individuals who are around the same age as ours are.

According to Gary Levingston, a well-liked contestant from Joan Vassos’ season on “The Golden Bachelorette,” it appears that the initial group, spanning different age ranges, may not be open to socializing together.

Although age-gap romances, such as those depicted in books like “The Idea of You” and “A Family Affair,” are widely enjoyed in literature and films, some viewers or readers have expressed discomfort with the idea of a person in their seventies dating someone much younger by five decades.

In simpler terms, it’s not as extreme a difference as people might assume. Previously, on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’, the oldest participant (Kenny Braasch) was 40, and the youngest ‘Golden’ contestant (Mark Anderson) was 58. This suggests that the age gap within the ‘The Bachelor’ franchise isn’t as wide-ranging as one might expect.

As suggested by Levingston, it seems that the Golden family may not have a significant role for Season 10. However, it’s unclear whether they will provide guidance to their younger counterparts or potentially engage in dating within the Goldens themselves. According to Levingston’s further explanation, it appears that their role might encompass both aspects.

I believe we might serve as mentors, advisors, and confidants, providing guidance when needed, while also maintaining our connections with those they intend to introduce us to. This uncertainty makes it an intriguing experience; the journey unfolds further ahead.

It appears that the popular Golden cast members are all geared up! I believe many Bachelor Nation enthusiasts were eager to witness contestants such as Leslie Fhima and Gary Levingston embark on a quest for love on the beach. Moreover, it seems they’re also open to offering guidance about love to former participants of The Bachelor/Bachelorette.

I’m excited to watch how things unfold during Bachelor in Paradise’s tenth season, as new relationships blossom amidst the summer heat (hopefully leading to something more lasting). The show will air on ABC starting July 7, and if you miss it live, you can catch up on Hulu the following day.
