‘Bachelor in Paradise’ alums Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon welcome their second child

As a devoted fan of Bachelor Nation, I couldn’t be happier for Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon as they expand their beautiful family! Their latest addition, Hayden Cruise Haibon, was born on July 22, 2024, weighing in at a healthy 8 lbs., 7 oz. The joy and love that radiates from their Instagram post is palpable as they share the precious moment of Dawson meeting his little brother for the first time.

Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon have expanded their family.

On Monday, the ex-contestants of The Bachelor announced the birth of their second child, sharing the news with People magazine and their Instagram followers.

Introducing Hayden Cruise Haibon, who entered the world on July 22, 2024 at 2:29 p.m., tipping the scales at a birth weight of 8 lbs. 7 oz. at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. (Iaconetti and Haibon shared this information with the outlet.)

The baby is in good health, just like his mother. Witnessing Dawson’s initial reaction to meeting his younger brother Hayden was as heartwarming as we had envisioned. Dawson showed an abundance of affection towards his new sibling, continually patting him gently.

Iaconetti and Haibon crossed paths for the first time on “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2015, but they didn’t start dating until May 2018. Just a short while after going public with their relationship, they announced their engagement and got married in the year 2019.

In 2022, the couple gave birth to their first child, a son named Dawson. Haibon described the delivery as remarkably straightforward.

“He’s incredibly sweet and lovely, yet he’s spent the entire day asleep. In contrast, his parents are currently lacking sleep, but it’s all worth it for us.”

Iacionetti and Haibon, each originating from households of four members, shared the desire for Dawson to have a brother or sister. They expressed this intention to People magazine back in the beginning of the year.

Iaconetti expressed some apprehension in May about handling two major responsibilities. He acknowledged that becoming parents for the first time would bring about substantial changes in their lifestyles.

“But I think we’re just curious and anxious to see how it is to keep two people alive,” she said.

“Finding a name we were both fond of proved to be more challenging during our second attempt,” Haibon revealed to the media on Tuesday. Ultimately, they looked back to Iaconetti’s teenage infatuation with Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker and their mutual appreciation for Tom Cruise.

In our initial encounter on “Bachelor in Paradise,” I shared with her my admiration for Tom Cruise’s acting prowess. His characters are known for their intense passion, unwavering determination, and captivating charm have always left an indelible impression on me.

At the 2023 premier of “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One,” Haibon mentioned, Cruise showed them kindness and interest in their tales, making them more determined to adopt the name.

Based on Iaconetti’s Instagram post on Tuesday, she is back home from the hospital and intends to share the entire birth experience with us in detail at a later time. Additionally, she uploaded two photos side by side, showcasing her newly born sons.

“ABC chose not to broadcast ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ in 2024, but they announced the renewal of the series for a 10th season, which will start in 2025. This new season will follow Jenn Tran’s tenure as ‘The Bachelorette,’ and the premiere of ‘The Golden Bachelorette.’ Additionally, the upcoming 29th season of ‘The Bachelor’ is predicted to be aired in early 2025.”
