Bachelor Alum Ben Higgins and Wife Jessica Clarke Welcome First Child: A Beautiful Daughter!

Former star of The Bachelor, Ben Higgins, has recently welcomed a new addition to his family – a beautiful baby girl. He and his wife Jessica Clarke, who they’ve been married for three years, are overjoyed about their new role as parents.

Initially, Ben, aged 35, gained widespread recognition from his appearance on The Bachelorette. Later, he was selected as the lead for the 2016 season of The Bachelor and proposed to Lauren Bushnell at the end of it.

In 2017, he ended his relationship with Lauren, and by the next year, he began a new romance with Jessica. They got married in November 2021.

Back in August, the happy couple revealed their delightful news: they were going to have a baby! Later on, Jessica disclosed that the pregnancy was achieved through intrauterine insemination.

Currently, Ben is thrilled to announce on Instagram that their little girl has been born. He shared, “I might be slightly biased, but it appears that God took a bit longer with our daughter because she’s absolutely stunning!

The message he sent included a picture showing Jessica, lying in her hospital bed, holding their newborn while Ben hovered over them.

‘The latest update, with even more on the horizon! Baby Higgins has made her entrance into the world. She’s in good health. Jess Clarke is doing splendidly,’ he posted.

Something incredible has taken place, and I’m still finding the right words to describe it. However, I can say that we now have a beautiful little girl, and my partner, Jess, is doing exceptionally well in her recovery.

He stated: “Those nurses and physicians who tended to us deserve recognition, for they truly excelled. Furthermore, it’s my personal belief that our little girl received a bit extra care from God due to her extraordinary beauty.

Hey there! I, your overly enthusiastic fan, am referring to Ben, the guy who cleverly masks the little one’s cute face with an emoji on Insta. He shared this message with us: “This stunning secret is about to unfold, but first, it needs a good soak – a bath, that is!

He announced publicly last August that they were expecting a baby girl, sharing the news on Instagram: “The next phase of our love tale! A baby girl due in February.

Not long after, Jessica openly discussed her struggles with fertility, explaining that she hadn’t been experiencing regular ovulation prior to getting pregnant.

In that particular podcast episode of Almost Famous, she chose intrauterine insemination, a procedure that serves as a precursor to In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

Jessica admitted that they only needed one attempt at Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) in their journey towards fertility, which she gratefully referred to as a stroke of very good luck.

Ben, who began a relationship with Jessica back in 2018 and eventually got married in November 2021, has been vocal about their decision to wait until marriage to engage in sexual activities.

On the podcast Talking It Out, hosted by Bryan Abasolo and Mike Johnson, he articulated that his faith in Jesus Christ, which serves as the bedrock of their lives, is a shared belief with Jessica, and they both view sex as something sacred.

Ben mentioned that although he wasn’t a virgin at the start of his relationship with Jessica, she had always considered sexual intimacy as something sacred and waited to engage in it until after they got married.

After discussing our options, we both wondered, “What would be the prudent course of action for us in this situation?” It was then decided: “Well, you’ve put so much effort into making this moment meaningful for you, and I’ve had my share of failed relationships where that has been an issue. So, let’s give it a try. Let’s see where this leads because we have a lifetime ahead together.

2015 marked the rise of Ben’s popularity when he appeared as a competitor on The Bachelorette, one of many suitors vying for Kaitlyn Bristowe’s attention and affection.

Even though Kaitlyn didn’t end up picking him, he was still chosen for the upcoming season of ‘The Bachelor’. On this season, he eventually proposed to Lauren Bushnell.

During their relationship, they appeared on a Freeform reality series titled “Ben & Lauren: A Life of Bliss” before parting ways in the year 2017.
