Among them, her daughter Dakota Johnson and her mother Tippi Hedren.

Last year, I learned from reliable sources that I, being a devoted admirer, was informed of my beloved icon’s diagnosis – dementia, a condition she was battling as a Hollywood legend.

The news emerged following a Spanish journalist’s attempt to arrange an interview with Hedren, the founder of a large cat sanctuary over 80 acres, only to be turned down because of the actress’ current health issues.

‘She has dementia, and is unable to remember her career at all,’ her team said.

‘She just turned 94, so unfortunately, time has taken its toll.’
