BABY BUMP BOMBSHELL: Abbey Holmes Stuns in Sheer Dress at Glamour Event

At the prestigious Glamour on the Grid event in Melbourne on Wednesday, Abbey Holmes radiated joy while proudly displaying her growing belly.

At the Formula One event, the sports commentator, aged 33 and pregnant with her first child by husband Keegan Brooksby, drew attention in a beautiful, off-the-shoulder, semi-transparent blue dress that accentuated her expanding waistline.

Abbey tenderly held her baby bump in a graceful gown that boasted ruching on its shoulder area.

She adorned herself with striking drop earrings and an elegant bracelet, giving a hint of sophistication to her stylish appearance.

She finished off her appearance with a stylish bun, sun-kissed cosmetics, and sandal-like shoes, radiating casual elegance.

The Channel Seven sports commentator gleamed with charm while standing next to the ex-AFL ruckman Keegan, who exuded elegance in a timeless black tuxedo and bowtie.

With radiant smiles, the expectant parents chatted amiably at the private gathering, evidently thrilled about the upcoming birth of their child.

In January, it was reported by the Herald Sun that Abbey declared she was going to have her first child. She expressed great joy, stating that she and her spouse were elated with the news.

Over the joyous Christmas season, I burst with excitement, unable to contain my news any longer. It turned out that I had some incredible news to share – a revelation that came to me following my accomplishment at the New York Marathon in November: I was expecting!

Well, you can understand that it was quite surprising, considering the strain I’d just subjected my body to. Yet, I’m truly amazed by the incredible capabilities of the human body,” she expressed.

Regardless, Abbey expressed that she and Keegan are thrilled beyond words, eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child towards the end of this year.

We’re thrilled and thankful to find ourselves here, acknowledging the challenges that many face. We’re floating on air with anticipation for what lies ahead in this new phase.

Abbey mentioned that the pair have been personally informing a multitude of individuals about their significant update, expressing it as an exceptionally memorable period for everyone involved.

Later on, she revealed her pregnancy news through an Instagram post, where she uploaded delightful photos of her expanding belly, skillfully captured by the photographer Diana Brandt.

She learned about her pregnancy only a few weeks after returning to Australia from the New York Marathon, where she had been a participant.

Overwhelmed with joy, I couldn’t suppress my feelings as I crossed the finish line for the first time in the Big Apple’s marathon.

In simpler terms, Seven posted a touching video showing her emotions as she cried upon finishing the 42.2 kilometer race.

‘Speechless. Proud,’ she captioned the clip.

‘The emotion on that finish line hit me reeeeaal hard. I am a marathon runner!’

The path to the New York Marathon wasn’t easy for Holmes.

She had been juggling her on-screen commitments with Channel Seven, alongside marathon training.

The lovers married in November 2023 in a stunning ceremony at Uluru in the Northern Territory.

They got married with approximately 100 friends and relatives present, among whom were Luke Hodge and Brian Taylor, Abbey’s seven commentary associates.
