Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver had an uncomfortable reunion at Nobu Malibu on Monday night. The dinner happened just days after Schwarzenegger publicly criticized the expensive financial agreement reached in their divorce.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and his ex-wife, Maria Shriver, may have gotten back together to celebrate their son Patrick’s 32nd birthday last Thursday.
The actor from The White Lotus and his wife, model Abby Champion, recently celebrated their wedding. They tied the knot on September 6th at Gozzer Ranch Golf and Lake Club in Harrison, Idaho, after dating for ten years.
The 76-year-old, originally from Austria, and his 69-year-old former wife included their daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, and her husband, Chris Pratt, in the invitation. Chris and Katherine both wore black shirts with blue jeans.
The couple, a 35-year-old social media personality and a 46-year-old actor, have three young children, all under 5 years old. The actor also has a 13-year-old son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Anna Faris.
Arnold and Maria Schwarzenegger’s children, Christina and Christopher, were recently seen at a high-end sushi dinner. Unlike many children of celebrities, they prefer to stay out of the public eye and don’t use social media, so little is known about their lives.
The Schwarzenegger-Shriver clan mingled together at the valet stand awaiting their respective cars.
The journalist, originally from Chicago, looked delighted as she carried a black Hermès Birkin bag, a luxury item that can range in price from $5,000 to $500,000.
The star and producer of FUBAR chose a black cardigan decorated with patriotic patches and paired it with orange pants.
At one point, Patrick placed a hand on Arnold’s chest as they bid farewell to each other.
Schwarzenegger then hopped into the passenger’s seat of a towering black GMC SUV.
Joseph Baena, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son from a past relationship, wasn’t at the family reunion. He’s particularly known for following in his father’s footsteps as a bodybuilder, much like Schwarzenegger himself.
Maria learned that Arnold had a child, a 27-year-old real estate agent, with their housekeeper, Mildred ‘Patty’ Baena, from a brief affair. This revelation led to the end of their 25-year marriage in 2011, with the divorce becoming final in 2021.
Last Thursday, Arnold Schwarzenegger playfully referenced his divorce while honoring journalist Chris Wallace with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Emmy winner shared that, having been interviewed countless times, and also having been married to a journalist, they have a lot of experience with the profession.
‘The only difference between Chris and Maria is that Chris has never taken half my money.’
The criticism came four months after Arnold joked at an Amazon event about his 1996 movie, saying ‘Jingle All the Way is the best Christmas movie ever. They show it all December – I know because my ex-wife still calls me about the payments I receive from it.’
In her poetry book, *I Am Maria*, published last April, Shriver revealed the divorce was deeply painful, saying it shattered her emotionally and left her feeling lost. She described it as the final blow after also losing her marriage, parents, and job, causing her to finally confront long-held patterns of avoiding difficult truths.
Caroline Kennedy, niece of President John F. Kennedy, currently edits The Sunday Paper while also working as a special anchor for NBC News. She and her husband, Patrick, co-founded MOSH, a granola bar company that supports research into Alzheimer’s disease.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to play Santa Claus in a new Christmas comedy called ‘The Man with the Bag.’ The movie, directed by Adam Shankman and produced by Amazon MGM Studios, will be available to stream on October 3rd.
The movie’s cast includes Alan Ritchson, Awkwafina, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Adrian Martinez, Jane Krakowski, and Ken Jeong.
