Now that Avengers: Doomsday is finished, Marvel has revealed details about the next big storyline, Avengers: Secret Wars. The current series of movies and shows, known as the Multiverse Saga, is coming to a close, with only a few projects planned for Phase 6, which began this summer with The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, filming for Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2026. The Russo brothers are currently finishing up work on Avengers: Doomsday, and some extra filming for that movie is planned this spring before they start shooting the final film in Phase 6.
Avengers: Secret Wars opens in theaters on December 17, 2027.
