Okay, so the first teaser dropped and I’m losing it – Chris Evans is back as Steve Rogers in the MCU! It’s pretty mysterious how this is happening, the footage doesn’t give much away. We see him, seemingly in the timeline he jumped to at the end of Avengers: Endgame, with what looks like a little kid. But here’s the interesting part: everyone’s saying he won’t be Captain America again. Apparently, he’s going to be operating as Nomad instead, which is a really cool change of pace, if the rumors are true.

Avengers: Doomsday features a star-studded cast including Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, along with many other actors.

The next major Marvel movie, Avengers: Doomsday, is scheduled to release on December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027.
