‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Teaser 2 Featuring Chris Hemsworth’s Thor Is Now in Theaters

Marvel Studios is continuing to release previews for their upcoming superhero movie, a sequel that will see Iron Man’s actor face off against many of his former superhero teammates. The story involves a chaotic multiversal conflict led by the villain Doctor Doom. The latest trailer is currently showing in cinemas with the film Avatar: Fire and Ash and highlights the character of Thor, one of the original Avengers.

After a first look revealing Steve Rogers’ return in Avengers: Doomsday, the newest teaser features Chris Hemsworth as Thor – a predictable reveal, as he was the first cast member announced. This teaser presents a much more serious side of Thor than we saw in Thor: Love and Thunder. He’s shown walking through a forest, seemingly praying to his father, Odin, as he prepares for a new threat to Earth-616.

Thor has cut his hair short again, returning to a style similar to what he had in Infinity War. The trailer also introduces Love, Thor’s adopted daughter, who is portrayed by Chris Hemsworth’s real-life daughter, India Rose Hemsworth. It looks like Thor will be fighting to protect Earth and his loved ones from the dangerous Doctor Doom and a possible apocalypse.
