Marvel Studios is finishing up work on Avengers: Doomsday, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. The film is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters this December, with another sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, planned for 2027.

Marvel has now released four short previews for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie. The first preview showed Chris Evans reprising his role as Captain America, followed by a second focusing on Thor (Chris Hemsworth). The third preview highlighted several characters from the X-Men. He explained that while there’s evidence suggesting she’ll appear in Avengers: Doomsday, he can’t share specifics due to his sources. However, he cautioned that even if she’s seen in the film, it likely won’t be Elizabeth Olsen herself. Apparently, they frequently used masked stunt doubles – similar to those in the movie Kingdom of Heaven – to film scenes with characters whose appearances hadn’t been officially announced, particularly those who will be part of Doom’s army.

Beyond that, Doom performs an action in the movie that, until recently, only two characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe had ever done, suggesting Wanda might be the source of this power. Also, leaked concept art offers a strong hint that Wanda appears in the film – pay close attention to depictions of crowns, as they come in various colors like blue, red, purple, and green.

Marvel hasn’t officially announced whether Elizabeth Olsen will be in either of the upcoming Avengers movies.
