A recent video has led Marvel enthusiasts to believe a significant character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will reappear in the upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel Studios is currently finishing up work on Avengers: Doomsday, a new film directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. It’s expected to be in theaters in December 2026, and another Avengers movie, Secret Wars, will follow in 2027.
Who do MCU fans think will be returning in Avengers: Doomsday?
Teyonah Parris shared a video on Instagram promoting her wig collection. Fans noticed one of the wigs closely resembles the hairstyle of her Marvel character, Monica Rambeau, from ‘WandaVision’ and ‘The Marvels’.
This has led some fans to believe that Monica will be returning in Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel hasn’t officially announced whether Parris will be in Avengers: Doomsday, but it’s likely she’ll appear somehow. The end of The Marvels showed her interacting with Kelsey Grammer, who plays Beast, and Grammer is confirmed to be in the new Avengers movie. It’s still unknown how big his role will be.

The next major Avengers movie, titled Doomsday, is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026. It will be followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027.
