Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 Trailer Introduces Live-Action Toph

The first teaser trailer for Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 has been released.

Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender is a live-action adaptation of the popular animated series originally created for Nickelodeon by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. The show is led by Albert Kim and features Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, Dallas Liu as Prince Zuko, and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Uncle Iroh.

What happens in the Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 trailer?

The new trailer for Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 gives us our first look at Toph, portrayed by Miya Cech. Toph is a powerful earthbender who, despite being blind, can ‘see’ using vibrations in the ground.

Season 2 of Avatar: The Last Airbender will feature several new actors, including Terry Chen as Jeong Jeong, Dolly de Leon playing both Lo and Li, Lily Gan as Ursa, Madison Hu as Wei, Dichen Lachman as Yangchen, Chin Han as Long Fen, Hot Xuande as Professor Zei, Justin Chien as King Kuei, Amanda Zhou as Joo Dee, Crystal Yu as Lady Beefing, Kelemete Misipeka as The Boulder, Lourdes Faberes as General Sung, and Rekha Sharma as Amita.

According to executive producers Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani, the second season of Avatar: The Last Airbender will focus on the peaceful city of Ba Sing Se, where the Gaang will continue their adventures. Expect clever strategies from Sokka, increasingly skilled bending from Katara, and plenty of adorable moments with Appa and Momo. Aang will also learn new bending techniques. The show aims to recreate memorable scenes from the original animated series and delve into storylines that weren’t fully explored before.

Season 2 of Netflix’s live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender will arrive in 2026. The show has also been picked up for a third and final season, bringing the story to a close.
