Team17 and developers at Woodland Games have revealed that the highly anticipated game, Autopsy Simulator, is set to arrive on consoles within the upcoming month. This means players will soon be able to immerse themselves in the chilling first-person medical horror of this title on Xbox and PlayStation systems.
In this game, you assume the role of a training pathologist, working with authentic case studies developed by real-life forensic physicians. These studies will guide your investigations and autopsies using anatomically correct cadavers. Be warned, it could test your resilience as some scenes may be quite graphic.
In this game, you will be tasked with discovering the reason behind each character’s demise. Utilize your detective skills, along with a variety of genuine medical resources authenticated by a practicing pathologist. The game also offers an engaging storyline that unfolds independently.
Autopsy Simulator: Echoes of the Past
Experience a chilling psychological horror set in 1990s New Orleans, where you assume the role of middle-aged pathologist Jack. After a devastating personal event, Jack’s life spirals out of control. In this game, you will confront your inner turmoil while executing realistic post-mortem examinations.
Beyond the primary game and its narrative section, an additional ‘Autopsy Study’ mode is offered, allowing you to enhance your expertise in pathology by exploring distinct situations. Here, you can solve the puzzle behind the demise of each case.
Autopsy Simulator launches for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on 3rd April.
