The new eight-episode season of the Netflix series sees Dante and Vergil begin to resolve their conflict, discovering that Mundus was actually behind their mother’s death. They also uncover a bigger threat in Argosax. In a dramatic season finale, the brothers turn the villains against each other, letting Mundus defeat his longtime enemy, Argosax. However, Dante and Vergil then clash over what to do next; Dante wants to retreat and prepare to fight Mundus on their own, while Vergil is focused on revenge.

Crook and Jones previously collaborated on the popular BBC comedy Detectorists. Crook not only wrote and created the show, but also starred in it as Andy Stone, alongside Jones as Lance Stater.
Jeanne Nicole Ní Áinle (known for How to Get to Heaven From Belfast) will play Julia, alongside Conor MacNeill (Industry) as Marty, Gerard Headley as Finty, Kerri Quinn as Jackie, and Lalor Roddy as Fra.
