Okay, so Stranger Things is officially over after five seasons. It was a bit bittersweet seeing Eleven’s future up in the air and watching the whole gang move on knowing the threats from the Upside Down are gone. But honestly, I’m relieved to hear that the story isn’t completely finished! They’re planning spin-offs, and one series coming in 2026 will explore that world and even bring back some familiar faces, which is really exciting for a fan like me.

A new comic series called Sea of Thieves: The Last Bite is now available on Xbox’s Webtoons platform. Illustrated by Rhoald Marcellius and written by Chris Allcock, the comic offers a fresh look at the world of Sea of Thieves with a new ship and crew. Plus, Xbox Game Pass members can take advantage of a special, limited-time offer related to the launch.

The new animated series, Stranger Things: Tales from ’85, will feature the same characters – like Eleven, Mike, and Hopper – but with different voice actors. Brooklyn Davey Norstedt will voice Eleven, with Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Benjamin Plessala as Will, and Brett Gipson as Hopper. Joining them will be Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo, and Lou Diamond Phillips.

Entertainment reporter Daniel Richtman says that the movie Captain America: Brave New World was originally going to feature the character Amadeus Cho, who is also known as the Totally Awesome Hulk.

I was really shocked to see Kurt Sutter share that graphic about The Abandons getting cancelled – all those headlines like “Netflix Pulls the Plug” and “Series Ends on a Cliffhanger” were just brutal, especially after it had gotten almost 20 million views! It turns out, the crazy part is that Kurt actually walked away from the show himself, with only a few weeks of filming left. Apparently, Netflix wanted to make some changes after seeing early cuts of the first episode. Looking back now, with the series cancelled, it seems like he knew what he was doing when he made that decision.

Netflix has a huge selection of both classic movies and original shows. With so many options, deciding what to watch can be overwhelming. Luckily, a few titles really shine and deserve to be at the top of your list this week.
