Okay, so I just watched this movie, and it’s the first one Josh Safdie’s directed on his own in ages. The whole movie is basically him running all over New York trying to scrape together the money to even enter the competition. It’s a pretty wild ride, honestly!

It tells the story of two sisters who reconnect with their father, a filmmaker, as he begins a new project based on their lives. Interestingly, a famous Hollywood actress, Elle Fanning, will portray one of the sisters in the film.
