The publication of author Andrew Lownie’s book, which contains sensational allegations about Prince Andrew’s relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and allegations of compromising evidence being shared with adversarial nations, has caused a significant stir within the British royal family.
Currently, there seems to be quite a stir surrounding the launch event, as it’s been making headlines after being exclusively featured in the Daily Mail.
Tonight, Lownie will mark the release of Entitled: The Rise And Fall Of The House Of York with a celebration at The London Library in St James’s Square. Interestingly, the author has decided to exclude one of London’s notable high society figures, Lady Victoria Hervey, from attending the event.
The experienced PR professional, Brian Basham, was invited to a social event and he wished to accompany Lady Victoria, age 48, who is the sister of the Marquess of Bristol, as his guest.
However, when he courteously inquired about Lownie’s opinion on entering, the author emphasized that she wouldn’t be allowed access to the library, a once frequented place by Charles Dickens, Virginia Woolf, Charles Darwin, and Ian Fleming.
The author indicated that Lownie would find herself denied entry to the library where Charles Dickens, Virginia Woolf, Charles Darwin, and Ian Fleming were previously known to have spent time.
‘Lownie mentioned he’ll be glad to meet up with you, but unfortunately she won’t be able to attend, as she made some unfavorable remarks about his book on GB News, which didn’t sit well with him.’
Lady Victoria consistently advocates strongly for both Prince Andrew and the convicted criminal, Ghislaine Maxwell, who received a sentence of 20 years in a U.S. prison for luring minors and running a sex-trafficking ring involving underage girls.
She claims she had to flee the US as a result.

In 2023, she shared with me that things began feeling unsettling once she delved into a documentary centered around Ghislaine. She feigned alignment with a truth-teller during this period.
to get evidence to support Ghislaine. I have been working undercover and it’s dangerous.
‘Authorities in that place seem to have detailed information about me, to an extent where I felt like someone was tailing me. My relief was palpable upon returning to the UK. I’m eager for this ordeal to end and to no longer feel the need to watch my back.’
‘I am in touch with Prince Andrew, but I can’t discuss him.’
For Sherlock Holmes actor Benedict Cumberbatch, romance wasn’t simple at all. Educated at Harrow, the 49-year-old is married to theater director Sophie Hunter, 47. However, he confesses that she might have given up on him making a move first. He describes his shyness around women: “It took me 17½ years to take action. I was a speechless private schoolboy. But eventually, I managed to ask her if we could be more than friends.” Now they share three children together.
Known for her luxurious living, Mariah Carey, the singer, recently discovered a fondness for a modest British favorite – fish and chips. During her recent visit to Brighton where she performed as the headline act at the Pride festival, showcasing her five-octave vocal range, she shared: “I wasn’t sure what to eat. So, I decided on fish and chips, and it turned out to be quite delicious.” However, there are preferences. She prefers no vinegar on her meal and admits, “I hadn’t noticed the mushy peas before…” Regarding curry sauce, she expressed, “I don’t care for curry.
Thomas Dolby, the groundbreaking synth-pop artist at the age of 66, confesses that his mother attempted to manipulate the Top 40 charts in his favor. Upon learning that chart positions were based on a poll of record stores, she took action independently. As he humorously recalls, “At her shop in Cambridge, when I released a single, she’d buy 20 copies.” Let’s hope this unusual promotional strategy didn’t affect the popularity of his 1984 hit ‘Hyperactive’ and its Top 20 position!
Buckingham Palace is undergoing a ten-year, £369 million renovation, yet Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, the flamboyant ex-host of Changing Rooms, questions whether this will suffice. Llewelyn-Bowen, 60, remarks that the royal residence seems “a bit run-down, like an outdated golf resort.” He further comments that Buckingham Palace lacks the necessary grandeur and opulence, stating it should be more extravagant than it currently appears. Llewelyn-Bowen had previously worked on flooring at the palace before gaining fame, and recalls that Prince Philip was not a fan of his work. Upon meeting him later, Llewelyn-Bowen informed the prince about the floors he had designed years ago, to which Prince Philip replied, “I never liked them.
