Australian journalist and television presenter Simon Townsend has died aged 79.
The well-known television personality was lately confirmed to have a severe form of cancer, and it was his family who reported his passing away on Wednesday.
Back in the groovy ’70s and beyond, I was the one who brought magical wonder into countless little lives through the creation and hosting of the unforgettable kids’ TV show, Wonder World. Running from 1979 to 1987, it was a true phenomenon that left an indelible mark on our hearts!
