Australian influencer claims she was scammed at Paris nightclub after waking up with a $5000 bank charge

As an avid follower of Jacquie Alexander’s vibrant and adventurous lifestyle, I must say her recent escapades have been nothing short of thrilling! From the glamorous highs of Parisian nightlife to the unexpected lows of a hefty club bill, it seems our Aussie influencer has once again found herself in an unforgettable situation.

Jacquie Alexander woke up with more than a hangover after a night out in Paris with a group of friends recently.

An Australian social media personality spent an enjoyable evening at a Parisian nightclub, but on checking her bank balance the next day, she discovered that $5000 had been taken out of her account.

In a recent TikTok video, I shared my experience of feeling something beyond the typical “hangover scaries.” To be completely honest, I found myself unusually anxious.

‘My heart dropped. Smacked in the face with an amount from the club that I did not authorise.’

I was informed by Jacquie that the proprietor of the club indicated to her and our group that we were free to order whatever we desired. She asserts that he explicitly stated, “Consider it covered by me.”

The well-known figure on social media thought the costly tequila was complimentary, but awoke to discover a bill for $5000 instead.

She acknowledged that it was incredibly foolish, yet as an Australian, she found it hard to believe such a thing could happen, given our general trust in others.

While you’re on your travels, do stay vigilant. Also, keep your companions informed about your location constantly. It’s essential to surround yourself with reliable friends who can support you, just as I had during my journey.

Additionally, Jacquie mentioned that the situation escalated after the club required one of her friends to buy a $400 pair of pants from an on-site boutique because she wasn’t dressed according to their code – and things only got worse from that point on.

‘It makes me so sick to my core that there are people who would do something like this’ she said.

Earlier this month, there was more positive news for Jacquie as she disclosed her engagement to ice hockey player Nathan Ephraums.

31-year-old beauty from Perth, excitedly announced on Instagram that she is now engaged, following her fiancé’s participation with the Australian hockey team, the Kookaburras, in the recent Paris Olympics.

After the end of the games, Jacqui and Nathan, during their vacation in Italy, posted a string of affectionate photos on social media as a way to celebrate this special moment together.

In an exhilarating moment, I found myself utterly captivated by a snapshot that revealed the style icon tenderly enwrapping her soon-to-be spouse along a pebbled trail. The dazzling brilliance of her colossal engagement ring couldn’t be ignored, shining as a beacon of their impending union.

Another photo showed the happy couple smiling and showing off the ring once more.

Another close up of the pair holding hands flaunted the gold band and large diamond on the ring.

Several other close-ups revealed more angles of the exquisite piece of jewellery.

In the caption to her post, Jacquie offered a simple statement: ‘Said yes under the Tuscan sun.’

Alexander runs her own fashion brand called In My Moods, which she co-owns with Ephraums.

The pair have been dating for years and have previously made headlines over their unique social media posts.

Her engagement news arrives several months following the controversy where she was criticized as ’embarrassing’ and ‘bringing disrepute to all Australians’, caused by her behavior on the London Underground in September.
