As one of the devoted followers, I’m thrilled to share that Tsehay Hawkins, our beloved young Wiggle, has courageously decided to break traditional gender norms through her creative costume selection.

In a departure from tradition, the present-day Yellow Wiggle, who’s 18 years old, has become the first female cast member to don pants rather than a skirt during performances.

To Yahoo Lifestyle, she expressed that it was “neat” or “fun” to have the chance to defy stereotypes through her costume selection.

She expressed that the act of wearing pants could be understood by both girls and boys. It’s also possible for boys to choose skirts, as she’s observed boys attending their events wearing skirts, which she finds equally charming.

Growing up, I was often dressed in frilly dresses and skirts, a common expectation for young girls. But as a child who loved to run around and play, I found these outfits restrictive and uncomfortable. So, it’s refreshing to see little ones today rocking flared pants. It breaks the traditional mold and allows them to express themselves in a way that feels more comfortable and authentic to their personalities.

As a devoted follower, I’d like to share that when it comes to my wardrobe choices, shattering stereotypes wasn’t my primary concern. Instead, I openly acknowledge my fondness for pants, making me more of a ‘pant-loving girl.’

She mentioned that at the time she chose to wear it, she didn’t consider it as a significant factor. However, afterward, she recognized the effect it had on her.
