Australian actress Rose Byrne, 46, shows off her ageless beauty as she attends film premiere in Canada

Rose Byrne was positively glowing this week, when she stepped out for a film premiere in Canada.

46-year-old actress from the movie “Bridesmaids” was present at the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of her new film titled “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.

In a captivating, sleeveless hot-pink dress that fit her gracefully slim figure like a glove, the Australian actress drew notice from many onlookers.

The eye-catching outfit showcased dramatic folds, drawing attention to Rose’s impressively toned arms and shoulders, making them stand out even more.

She enhanced her graceful appearance with a pair of stylish silver open-toed heels, opting instead for a timeless hairstyle as she prepared for the event.

Instead of piling on additional accessories, Rose chose to make a bold statement with her stylish attire alone, complemented by a pair of dazzling diamond earrings that gracefully hung at her shoulders.

Rose completed her elegant red-carpet appearance by delicately adding a touch of blush to highlight her cheekbones, applying a bold smoky eye effect, and using a soft color for her lips.

In a fitting manner, the Platonic star seemed perfectly at home, exuding joy while being photographed by media personnel as she gracefully strolled down the red carpet.

Additionally, she was spotted grinning and taking photographs with her fellow actors, notably Ivy Wolk. Ivy stood out radiantly in a cheerful, vibrant yellow minidress that fell slightly above her knee.

It comes after Rose recently revealed the ‘desperate lengths’ she went to for Hollywood fame.

In July, Rose made an appearance on The Kate Ritchie Show, hosted by Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa, joined by her Platonic co-star Seth Rogen. They discussed the eagerly awaited new season of their popular show airing on Apple TV+.

In no time, the discussion veered towards the early endeavors of the Bridesmaids actress aiming for stardom.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I must confess that I didn’t hesitate to dip my toes into every type of television production before securing my initial on-screen gig.

During a conversation, host Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald asked the actress if she had ever auditioned for roles on shows like ‘Neighbors’ or ‘Home and Away’ during her younger years.

She mentioned a past project, the short-lived soap opera named “Echo Point”, which I believe you might be aware of given its popularity. Truthfully, it wasn’t… she paused here, letting her words trail off. The cast, however, was truly exceptional.

Seth then diplomatically interjected with: ‘It did not have the legs.’

Continuing, Rose admitted that she did, indeed, audition for both iconic soaps, and was rejected.

‘Oh yeah, I auditioned for Neighbours and Home and Away… all of them,’ she said.

Labelled as a potential rival for the popular shows “Home and Away” on Network Ten, Echo Point was a brief television series that ran from June until December of 1995.

In the soap, Rose played the role of Belinda O’Connor, the virtuous character, together with actors like Tom Long, Jessica Napier, Martin Henderson, and Diarmid Heidenreich.

Initially airing at 7 pm as a counterpart to the popular Seven soap opera, Echo Point struggled to connect with viewers and ultimately concluded its single season in the late-night slot of 11:30 pm, often referred to as the “graveyard shift.

25 years since Rose’s groundbreaking 1999 Australian film, Two Hands, graced our screens, I can hardly contain my excitement at the news that it’s getting a long-awaited sequel! As a diehard fan, this is truly a dream come true.

The movie featured a 19-year-old Heath Ledger, along with Rose, in an amusing yet gritty portrayal of the underworld. Since then, it has gained a dedicated fanbase, earning the status of a cult classic.

The Australian movie director Gregor Jordan has completed penning a sequel, as he announced to The Sydney Morning Herald.

‘We have a script that I think is really good. It brings it into the modern day,’ Jordan said.

Attempting a follow-up after five years likely wouldn’t have been successful, however, waiting 25 years seems to be the appropriate moment.
