Joseph Kosinski’s upcoming film is beginning to come together. While Universal Pictures hasn’t announced the cast yet, several actors are reportedly being considered for roles.
Following speculation, Michael B. Jordan is reportedly being considered for the role of Ricardo “Rico” Tubbs in the upcoming Miami Vice reboot. Now, reports suggest Austin Butler is also in discussions to play James “Sonny” Crockett alongside him. However, Butler’s involvement hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
Around the end of September, reports suggested Glen Powell and Michael B. Jordan were being considered to star as Crockett and Tubbs. While recent news still confirms Jordan is in discussions for the role, Austin Butler, known for his work in Elvis, is now being considered instead of previously mentioned actor Glen Powell.
