Alex Dalton and Madison Orchard are engaged! They announced the happy news after Alex proposed during a romantic trip to the Philippines.
The couple, who met while filming the dating show Love Triangle in 2022, announced their engagement on Instagram Sunday. They shared beautiful photos of a romantic, candlelit proposal on a Boracay beach.
‘Sooo.. this kinda happened!!!! 22/11,’ Madison wrote alongside a white heart emoji.
Madison looks stylish and relaxed in the photos, wearing a cream-colored crop top and flowy white pants with her hair neatly pulled back into a ponytail.
Alex, wearing a light blue shirt and white shorts, proposed inside a cave decorated with twinkling fairy lights, lanterns, and a glowing heart-shaped sign that asked, ‘Will you marry me?’
Another image shows the couple sharing a private celebratory dinner surrounded by candles.
The video ends with a sweet shot of Alex showing off the engagement ring right before he proposes.
The engagement marks a major milestone for the pair.
Alex famously described meeting Madison for the first time as a lightning bolt moment.
But their journey wasn’t without its hurdles.
While participating in the experiment, Alex briefly questioned his connection with Madison when he met Bec, his other potential match, and observed a side of Madison he hadn’t seen before.
At the time, he expressed concerns over her becoming jealous, possessive and less honest.
He expressed concern, explaining that if that behavior is a core part of her personality, it would be difficult to form a healthy, lasting relationship.
Despite their difficulties, they resolved their problems and realized their connection was too important to break.
Alex and Madison left the show as a couple, officially starting their relationship.
Two years on, their love story has come full circle in the most romantic way possible.
The Stan dating show will not be returning for a fourth series.
