As a lifelong fan of Oasis, I can barely contain my excitement! The news of their reunion has sent me into a nostalgic frenzy, transporting me back to the days of my youth when “Wonderwall” was the soundtrack to countless teenage memories. I remember those hot summer days at festivals, singing along with thousands of other voices, feeling like part of something bigger than myself.

Excited Australian followers of the legendary British rock duo, Oasis, have been ecstatic following the announcement of their upcoming reunion tour.

After several weeks filled with rumors, the Manchester-born siblings Liam and Noel Gallagher have decided to end their fifteen-year long rift, revealing that they’ll be sharing a stage once more, thirty-four years following their initial live performance together.

As a devoted fan, I am thrilled to share that the band I’ve followed passionately – Oasis – has made an astonishing announcement. After a hiatus that began in 2009 following a backstage altercation, they have confirmed their reunion for an epic tour across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

However, just a short while after the band’s announcement, fans swiftly gathered at X, pleading with the duo to include Australia in their tour schedule.

One overjoyed admirer expresses: ‘Oh my goodness! I ADORE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! Your biggest fans hail from Australia, buddy! We’re eagerly anticipating Oasis in Sydney and Melbourne!’

‘You gonna come to Australia the big fellas?’ asked another keen Oasis admirer.

‘I really hope you guys record a new album and come to Australia for a tour,’ wrote someone else.

‘Australia!!!! Please, please come to Australia!!!’ insisted another X user.

One pleaded, ‘Could you return to Australia?’ while another expressed hope, ‘I hope they’ll throw a party in Australia.’

The 14-performance tour, taking place across the UK and Ireland, will stretch from July 4 to August 17. It begins at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, followed by events at Heaton Park in Manchester, Wembley in London, Murrayfield in Edinburgh, and Croke Park in Dublin, where the brothers are expected to fill up each venue.

Contrary to rumors suggesting Oasis might play at Glastonbury 2025, it appears they won’t be gracing the stage at Worthy Farm.

However, plans are under way for Oasis to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year.

“Introducing the Oasis Live 25 tour, featuring a long-awaited reunion of the brothers! The iconic group exclaims: ‘After years of silence, the stars have aligned. The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived. Don’t miss it – this event won’t be broadcast on TV.'”

The Oasis website crashed immediately after the announcement as fans were sent into a frenzy.

The reunion comes a day before the date the band split on August 28, 2009.

Ticket sales for the band behind “Don’t Look Back In Anger” will start in the UK at 9am on August 31. For those in Dublin, ticket sales will begin an hour earlier, at 8am, on the same day.

Fans of Oasis have called it a “century’s worth of ticket chaos” and sworn to engage in a “fierce battle” to secure them.

Some people are expressing concern that it might turn into a chaotic situation, as there don’t seem to be any pre-sale options available and instead, it seems like an open sale for everyone.

In my expert opinion, I had a late-night conversation with my siblings that marked a significant turning point – we decided to join forces for a whopping £50 million reunion tour.

Supporters of the rock group from Manchester have been urging the siblings to reunite ever since they split up in 2009, following a fight backstage at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

Their last concert together was at V Festival at Weston Park, Staffordshire, in August 2009.

Days later, they cancelled the headline gig at the Rock en Seine festival following the argument.

At that moment, Noel shared this news: “I’ve stepped down from Oasis, and it’s a mix of sadness and relief. There’ll be various opinions, but the truth is, I couldn’t bear to work with Liam any longer.”

Over the past few years, I’ve found myself yearning to mend fences with my brother and revitalize our legendary Britpop group. However, my elder sibling has consistently dashed my hopes.

However, following his £20m divorce from former wife Sara MacDonald last year, it’s reported that Noel Gallagher was convinced by the financial advantages of reuniting the band.

As a devoted admirer, I can share that, based on The Sun’s report, they’ve secretly collaborated on a high-profile photo session aimed at announcing their upcoming return to the stage.
