Aussie influencer is slammed for ‘wearing underwear’ on the streets of Paris: ‘This is not classy’

Aussie influencer Elle Ferguson has been slammed for stepping out in Paris in a revealing outfit.

The social media personality, known for leaving the show The Block in 2022, recently had a spontaneous photoshoot while traveling and exploring the city.

Elle wore a black jumper and tiny printed shorts.

She accessorised with a black belt and held a shoulder bag as she walked the streets of Paris.

‘I like my shorts short and my jumpers with a high neck,’ Elle captioned the post.

Many people commented negatively on Elle’s photos, criticizing her outfit as being too similar to underwear for a public appearance.

One person criticized the trend as lacking sophistication, calling it “not classy or elegant.” Another bluntly stated that the items being worn were underwear and they wouldn’t misrepresent them as anything else.

‘Even with that body of yours… undies are not pants,’ a third commented.

Someone commented that wearing underwear in public is definitely not attractive and reflects a decline in societal standards.

One person bluntly told Elle they didn’t find it appealing, and another admitted they just didn’t understand the appeal of running around without pants, saying it wasn’t their preference.

‘Please don’t wear this in public,’ one person said.

This follows recent criticism of Elle for wearing a particularly revealing dress at a fashion show.

The influencer posted a video to Instagram in October while wearing the lilac Loewe dress.

The dress, from the designer’s Fall 2025 line, had a low-cut neckline and a layered peplum detail at the waist.

Okay, seriously, THE LILAC Loewe dress?! It’s even MORE incredible in person. I was completely blown away getting to see Jonathan Anderson’s latest collection up close and actually wear pieces from it – it was a total dream come true! Huge thanks to the amazing Loewe team and MCM PR for making it happen, I’m still pinching myself!

Elle’s followers rushed to the comments section to criticize her outfit, calling it ‘hideous’ and saying it didn’t suit her body type.

Someone commented that the dress itself wasn’t very becoming, saying it wouldn’t look good on anyone – they clarified they weren’t talking about the person wearing it!

‘That dress is hideous!’ another agreed, while a third added: ‘God that’s an ugly dress.’

One person said the outfit looked uncomfortable, and another simply stated they didn’t like the dress.

Despite some criticism, many people praised her appearance, with one person commenting, ‘She looks like a professional model – she should be on the runway!’

‘Actual Supermodel,’ another added.
