Australian fans are criticizing Doja Cat after what they considered a poor performance at a Melbourne nightclub on Sunday night.
Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, known professionally as the 30-year-old artist, kept her fans waiting for three hours before she finally began her performance.
The rap star’s concert ended abruptly after only three songs – just 15 minutes in – when she told the packed audience she was having trouble with her voice.
After the band’s disappointing performance at the popular Ms Collins nightclub, one fan told reporters they were ‘let down’ by the show.
A fan told the Herald Sun he wished Doja Cat had let people know sooner that she wasn’t feeling well, and maybe even offered to play her own music as a DJ instead.
The audience likely would have enjoyed a longer performance – 15 minutes felt too short and was a bit disappointing.

I was so excited to be at Doja Cat’s only club performance during this Australian tour! It was a really special night, and honestly, some of us paid around $130 just to get in – totally worth it, though!
Taking to X on Monday, one Doja Cat enthusiast shared their disappointment.
I’m absolutely devastated! Three new songs and all this money spent, and it still feels…wrong. And then I saw someone actually tell Doja, straight up, to ‘pull up’ – you know, like, come ready for a fight! Can you believe the nerve? It’s just…everything is so intense right now, and I’m completely caught up in it all.
Other fans shared images on the platform of the pop-rapper signing CDs during her brief appearance.
The most popular artist is set to perform at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on Tuesday.
This announcement follows Doja Cat’s earlier news that she’d be touring Australia and New Zealand with stadium concerts in November and December, which excited many fans.
Fans in Adelaide were upset when the singer excluded their city from the Australian dates of her Ma Vie World Tour stadium concerts.
People on Instagram are jokingly asking when the event will come to Adelaide, Australia, with comments like ‘Adelaide?’ and ‘Is this coming to Adelaide?’ One user even wrote, ‘Of course, not Adelaide,’ expressing disappointment that the city seems to be excluded.

‘Thanks, from Adelaide,’ said another.
Someone else commented: ‘Of course Adelaide missed out.’
‘There are so many fans in Adelaide though WTH,’ one user noted.
Another agreed with: ‘We NEED an Adelaide show!’
Following her performance in Melbourne, the artist behind “Paint The Town Red” will perform at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday, November 29th.
Doja Cat will finish her Australian tour with two concerts at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on December 1st and 2nd.
