Aussie Comedians Go Completely Naked in Racy TV Promo: ‘Never Been More Awkward’
Australian comedy duo The Inspired Unemployed have opted for a minimalist strategy when advertising their latest television show.
On Wednesday, the pair composed of Matt “Falcon” Ford and Jack Steele posted on Instagram to generate excitement for their forthcoming Channel Ten series titled The List.
In this six-episode show, the free-spirited comedians traverse the world to complete a variety of peculiar and exciting experiences from their personal “wish lists.
One of the activities, known as German Shuttlecock, was humorously highlighted in a promotional clip for the upcoming show.
Without hesitation, Matt and Jack enthusiastically embraced the theme of the production, even though it was shot at a nudist resort in Germany. They didn’t shy away from showing their natural selves as part of their creative endeavor.
In the video, the comedians were seen chatting relaxed with the German naturists prior to joining them for an amusing round of naked beach volleyball.
It didn’t take long for Jack and Matt to find themselves completely naked on the court.
In Matt’s caption for the video, he expressed that there is a single guideline for German Shuttlecock, which is to hit it forcefully, but without being rude or aggressive.
The long-awaited list will be released tomorrow, with Germany at the top. All I can express is relief at the censorship.
Jack also jumped into the comments, adding that his favourite part was the trip home after filming.
‘Sitting on the bus in silence with our entire film crew was also fun after this,’ he joked.
Despite seeming seasoned veterans in the European nudist community, Matt clarified that this was not necessarily true.
‘Honestly don’t think I’ve been more awkward in my entire life,’ he admitted.
Many enthusiasts promptly shared their thoughts on the post, as numerous intrigued spectators expressed eagerness to view the unedited version of the video.

One did ask people to spare a thought for the soul who was tasked with pixelating offending areas.
The compassionate reader suggested that the editor, responsible for the censorship, might benefit from a two-month break for mental health reasons.
Following a tragic mishap during a comedy group’s prank at a feminist conference in Sydney, 2024 saw the duo being enveloped in a wave of controversy.
A significant number of women, along with a few others, turned up at the complimentary gathering that showcased a discussion group featuring Clementine Ford, as well as other notable feminists such as Antoinette Lattouf and Yumi Stynes.
However, an unexpected turn of events left the attentive crowd taken aback. They had gathered to discuss marriage and sexuality gravely, but instead, comedian Jack Steele was introduced as a surprise guest.
As part of the duo The Inspired Unemployed alongside Matt Ford, Steele sparked displeasure among the crowd by making inappropriate comments.
At one point, he was heard to say ‘chicks dig consent’ and ‘I really like girl writers’.
Presented as a distinguished guest sharing his unique viewpoint as a young man on the discussed themes, it is said that Steele’s comments moved certain members of the audience to tears.

As reported by Yahoo Lifestyle, Steele’s actions were being captured for The Inspired Unemployed’s television series, known as (Impractical) Jokers.
According to reports, it appears that the comedian was allegedly given his provocative remarks through an earpiece for the latest performance.
The report claimed many audience members left the event before it was scheduled to finish.
During the meeting, Ford and her fellow speakers chose to carry on their discussion for an additional hour once Steele departed from the event.
The joke led to criticism from Ford’s supporters, who voiced their anger on her Instagram, stating that they felt deceived and manipulated for the sake of humor in a live performance.
‘Super weird move on this one, what on earth were you thinking?’ one fan messaged Ford.
‘Just wasted an hour of my time which I’ll never get back,’ another woman posted.
As I found myself surrounded by an emotionally charged audience, a fellow spectator wept quietly behind me. Despite my own resilience, I couldn’t help but feel that the intensity of this performance might have benefited from a heads-up for sensitive viewers. Tonight, it seemed, many women were moved to tears.
The List premieres Thursday at 7.30pm on Ten and Paramount+.
