Currently, Australian actress Phoebe Tonkin has shared some unexpected details about her upcoming honeymoon plans.

In an interview with Vogue Australia, Phoebe (age 35) disclosed that following their wedding, she and her husband have chosen a quiet approach to life, preferring to spend their time at home instead.

She shared with the media outlet that people often ask about their honeymoon plans, to which she responds, “We’re spending our honeymoon at home, enjoying a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

 ‘I love having my own little bubble, and seeing my family and friends and my partner.’

Phoebe and Bernard tied the knot in a chic ceremony in New York City in May.

Notable Australian celebrities such as Margot Robbie, Teresa Palmer, Samara Weaving, and Lara Worthington were part of a joyous couple’s celebrations that seemed to involve several days of fun activities over the weekend.

Additionally, Bella Heathcote, Jessica McNamee, and Ilona Hamer were added to the invite list for the two-day festivities.

Among the star-studded attendees, I was completely thrilled to rub shoulders with the enchanting Annabelle Wallis from across the pond, the rockin’ Maya Ford, a former bassist of The Donnas, the captivating Nesta Cooper hailing from the Great White North, and the sensational Eiza González, who added a dash of Mexican magic to the event. What an incredible lineup!

At the event, both Nina Dobrev, Phoebe’s co-star from The Vampire Diaries, and Claire Holt, who starred with her on H2O, were present as well.

As a lifestyle expert, I can tell you that on that special occasion, I myself was privileged to witness the radiant Aussie ladies gracefully adorning exquisite designer attire while basking in the joyous atmosphere of the celebration.

Meanwhile, the bride rocked two very chic looks for her big day. 

At a wedding celebration, Phoebe donned a newspaper-style dress reminiscent of Carrie Bradshaw’s 1998 Dior attire from Sex and the City.

On the occasion of their wedding, Phoebe chose a breathtaking white Chanel gown adorned with sequins and floral embellishments. Meanwhile, Bernard selected a traditional black suit for the event.

A single joyful snapshot of the duo, captured by the actress Maya, depicted Phoebe and Bernard striking a pose within an old-style photo booth.

One caption expressed joyfully, ‘And they lived happily ever after,’ while the other exclaimed with delight, ‘What an amazing weekend honoring this divine being.’

In October 2024, the joyful pair made public their engagement, having successfully kept their romance a secret up until that point.
