August’s Pokémon GO Community Day will be decided by vote!
Get ready to vote for the next featured Community Day Pokémon.
For a while now, we haven’t witnessed something similar in Pokémon GO, but here’s a novelty: The August Community Day featured Pokémon will be determined by a community vote! Over a 24-hour span, the community gets to pick from four distinct Pokémon.
It’s no secret that Community Day Pokémon selections have been determined by vote in the past. Nevertheless, it’s been quite some time since voting for these events took place, back in 2020. This upcoming event marks an exciting revival of this well-loved system. Given that recent Community Day events haven’t exactly lived up to expectations, this new approach is certainly a refreshing change for trainers.
When is the August Pokémon GO Community Day vote?
The Community Day voting session will be held from Saturday, June 7, at 6:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time, and continue until Sunday, June 8, also at 6:00 PM PDT. To cast your vote, you’ll need to navigate to the poll that has been posted on the official Pokémon GO YouTube channel.
Remember, you’ve got just 24 hours to exercise your right to vote. Ensure you mark your attendance within this limited timeframe, as each Trainer gets only one vote.
What are the four potential August Pokémon GO Community Day Pokémon?
The four options for the August Community Day are:
- Lechonk
- Frillish
- Rookidee
- Wimpod
Out of the four choices available, only one hasn’t been shiny in the game yet. This unrevealed Pokémon appears to be generating a lot of buzz among online discussions, and it’s none other than Rookidee.
For those who have Wimpod, a Community Day offering 400 candies could be extremely beneficial for them, as it provides an ample opportunity for evolution.
Frillish exhibits two distinct color patterns based on its gender, implying that there are actually two variations of Shiny forms to be found.
Ultimately, Lechonk stands out as an emblematic Pokémon boasting an exceptional shiny variation. It’s adored by many and certainly worthy of recognition among the top choices.
Don’t worry, it looks like every one of these Pokémon will have their own Community Day eventually. But remember, it might take some time, so gather your fellow trainers and show support for the Pokémon you hope to win!
