Aubrey Plaza shares the hilarious reason why she STILL hasn’t watched her season of The White Lotus

As an ardent admirer of Aubrey Plaza’s captivating performances, I find myself utterly intrigued by her candid confession about her HBO Max account woes and her yet-to-be-watched White Lotus season. It seems that even the enchanting Harper Spiller from The White Lotus encounters technological hurdles in real life, much like many of us.

Aubrey Plaza admits she hasn’t watched the season of The White Lotus on HBO Max, because of complications with her account password.

The 40-year-old actress, who portrayed Harper Spiller during season two of the show that premiered towards the end of 2022, mentioned, “I haven’t done it yet, but I plan to.”

On Tuesday, Plaza shared with The Wall Street Journal that she experienced some perplexity regarding her streaming subscription.

As an ardent fan, let me confess, I faced some hurdles while setting up my HBO Max account initially. The account’s password was a puzzle I couldn’t quite crack, and as someone who’s not too fond of grappling with such challenges, I often resort to giving up when it comes to deciphering passwords. It’s just one of those things that frustrates me.

As a die-hard enthusiast, I, who will bring the character of Wow Platinum to life in the upcoming Francis Ford Coppola masterpiece, Megalopolis, can hardly contain my excitement and eagerly express my longing for a DVD collection of that captivating series.

The Wilmington, Delaware-native actor mentioned that they no longer ship DVD box sets, as he confirmed each time.

Actress Plaza, nominated for an Emmy for her exceptional supporting role in a drama series, revealed she found a connection with her character Harper – a lawyer married to billionaire businessman Ethan Spiller, portrayed by William Sharpe.

In many aspects, but not all, Plaza stated. They shared a profession, much like my mother being a lawyer, and that created some common ground.

Actress Alison Brie, known for her role in Parks and Recreation from 2009 to 2015, mentioned that while filming the series’ season, it felt like she was actually on a holiday in Italy because the production took place in Taormina, Sicily. She enjoyed her meals as if she were truly on a vacation there.

During production, Plaza humorously mentioned that she had eaten a lot of linguine and clams, suggesting that White required the actors to eat substantial amounts of pasta as part of some sort of mental preparation or conditioning.

For the highly praised second season of the lavish series, we had stars like Jennifer Coolidge, F. Murray Abraham, Michael Imperioli, Haley Lu Richardson, Adam DiMarco, and Meghann Fahy, along with some other talented individuals, gracing our screens.

Plaza told Vanity Fair last year that she has past been frustrated sorting out technology.

She mentioned that she was attempting to watch Top Chef Season 20, but struggled to find a way to access Hulu + Live. In the end, she became frustrated and admitted defeat. Instead, she usually purchases older movies from iTunes.

‘Alternatively, I might purchase the entire Sopranos series from iTunes. Then, my husband may respond with something like, “But you know, you could just stream it for free on HBO Max.”‘

Season three of the series, set to debut next year, is based at a resort in Thailand.

The lineup features Natasha Rothwell from the first season, Walton Goggins, Scott Glenn, Carrie Coon, Michelle Monaghan, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, Lisa (of Blackpink, Lalisa Manobal), Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, and Tayme Thapthimthong.

Additional actors in the ensemble are Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Aimee Lou Wood, Nicholas Duvernay, Francesca Corney, Arnas Fedaravicius, Christian Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, and Shalini Peiris.
