Atomic Kitten’s Liz McClarnon, 44, Announces Pregnancy After 20 Years of Painful IVF Struggles

Liz McClarnon, a member of the group Atomic Kitten, announced that she is expecting her first child, following two decades of trying to conceive.

44-year-old musician announced joyfully via an Instagram post on Tuesday that she is now expecting a child, having successfully gone through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatment after numerous challenging years.

In the delightful video, you can spot Liz settling down on a park bench, later rotating to expose her baby bump for the very first time.

In her post, she titled it: “I’ve been hiding something from you, and at times, staying away from social media was a challenge due to the difficulty in finding reasons to grin.

‘But after years of sometimes quite painful IVF and dark times, I’m pregnant!

‘We feel like we’ve been given the world.’

Liz additionally penned a touching note accompanying the video, expressing: “Initially, I intended to make a simple video addressing you, but my emotions overwhelmed me, so I decided to conceal myself behind this brief announcement instead.

It’s hard for me to grasp that we’ve arrived. Countless others have faced challenges similar to mine, if not more severe. ❤️

I’d like to contribute whatever I have, lend my support and listening ear to those who are already providing assistance for people navigating the challenges of IVF and loss, following a period of high expectation.
