Atomic Heart ‘Enchantment Under the Sea’ DLC Heads into the Depths of an Underwater Research Facility in January 2025
As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that the latest announcement from Focus Entertainment and Mundfish for Atomic Heart has me absolutely smitten! With three DLCs now on the horizon, it seems that this post-Soviet, sci-fi, horror masterpiece is not content to rest on its laurels.
In simple terms, the developers of Atomic Heart, Focus Entertainment and Mundfish, have unveiled a third DLC for the game, scheduled to release in late January 2025. Named ‘Enchantment Under the Sea‘, this upcoming expansion will immerse you in the underwater world of Facility 3826.
Equipped with the Twin’s consciousness, enhanced glove skills, and fresh weaponry, you’re all set to delve into the Neptune Research Center’s mysteries. This chapter advances the game’s narrative, featuring both new and returning characters, along with some familiar places that have undergone significant transformations.
Here are some elements: The city in the sky known as Chelomey is currently controlled by robots. To help you prevent a bleak future for mankind, you’ll be equipped with the mighty ‘Thunderclap’, an electrically-powered hammer, and the KM-4 Kuzmich, a customizable double-barrel shotgun that fires in a spread pattern.
In your new gloves, you’ll find unique abilities such as the flame bursts called ‘Blaze’, and the Whip, which functions like a grappling hook allowing P-3 to move towards enemies and access areas that were previously out of reach. You’ll encounter not just robots, but also mutated coral swarms and the MOR-4Y, so every bit of assistance will be crucial.
‘Under the Sea Enchantment’ will soon be added to the existing lineup of ‘Annihilation Instinct’ and ‘Trapped in Limbo’ Season Pass downloadable content for the game ‘Atomic Heart’. This exciting new addition is set to release on 28th January 2025, and will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Another DLC is also planned for a later release.
