If you found yourself captivated by Atelier Yumia, here’s some exciting news! The newest addition to the Atelier series, titled Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian, is just about to be released.
In the latest installment, we meet Rias Eidreise and Slade Clauslyter, who embark on a quest to discover the mysteries hidden within an unknown Atelier inside crumbling ruins. This adventure takes place in the Lantarna mainland, sharing the same universe and timeline as Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and Polar Night Liberator.
In Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian, players will initially control six main characters. Yet, by purchasing the Season Pass or Ultimate Edition of the game, you’ll gain access to play Resna and Valeria, who were the lead characters in the prior Atelier Resleriana installment.
Release Date & Platforms

On September 25th, Atelier Resleriana is scheduled for release, and Koei Tecmo aims to leverage the positive momentum and financial success of Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Envisioned Land which were launched earlier this year.
On March 21, Atelier Yumia rapidly emerged as a bestseller among Atelier series games, shipping over 300,000 copies globally in just one week. This triumphant launch marks a significant achievement not only for publisher Koei Tecmo but also for developer Gust.

Upon its release, the game titled “Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian” can be found on these platforms.
- PlayStation 5
- Steam
- Nintendo Switch
Koei Tecmo confirmed there are currently no plans to release on Xbox.
What languages are available in Atelier Resleriana?
Koei Tecmo has made an official announcement that Atelier Resleriana will be available in multiple languages, including English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. However, similar to Atelier Yumia, it’s anticipated that the game audio will feature only Japanese dialogue.

Combat and Alchemy changes
Based on input from players who enjoyed the last Atelier Resleriana game, we’ve decided to make some changes to the combat system in the upcoming release. Now, instead of a turn-based format, you’ll be using commands for your actions, which should provide a more strategic and fulfilling experience.
Previously criticized for being too straightforward in “Atelier Rorona: Alchemist of Arland” and “Polar Night Alchemist: Liberator of the End & the Secret Doctor”, the alchemy system has been returned to earlier titles in order to preserve the rich, captivating depth that long-time fans have come to love.
