Astro Bot is a hugely popular PlayStation 5 game that really showed off the innovative features of the DualSense controller. It was so well-received that it even won Game of the Year in 2024, and continues to get new content even now.
Players who enjoy the one-of-a-kind puzzle-platformer on PS5 will be excited to hear about a brand-new, limited edition Astro Bot release coming this Thursday, March 26, 2026, through PlayStation.
Astro Bot Is Back With An Exclusive Release
This week marks the return of Astro Bot with a limited-edition DualSense controller case and a Red Panda Plushie. Both are available starting this Thursday, March 26, exclusively at the PlayStation Direct website.
For $56.99, fans can get a new bundle that includes a protective case for the DualSense controller and a cute Red Panda plushie from Youtooz.
This controller case is designed to fit standard DualSense Wireless controllers, but it’s not compatible with the DualSense Edge version. The Red Panda Bot plushie is a 9-inch collectible stuffed animal. It’s made with super-soft minky material and filled with PP cotton, featuring a white muzzle and bright blue eyes.
It Launches This Thursday On PS Direct
Fans of Astro Bot can buy the new DualSense controller case and Red Panda plushie starting this Thursday, March 26, 2026, only at the PlayStation Direct website. Pre-orders are open now, so you can get yours today for a good price if you want to celebrate the limited-edition Astro Bot release.
This new case is ideal for dedicated Astro Bot fans who love to collect, and it’s a good reason to play the game again. It’s designed with a tough outer layer and a custom fit inside to keep your controller safe whether you’re storing it or taking it on the go.
As a gamer, I love that this case lets me charge my controller without even taking it out – it has this clever little opening for the charging cable! Plus, there’s a handy mesh pocket inside to store small accessories. Honestly, it’s perfect for keeping my controller protected whether I’m traveling or just storing it at home.
Even years after its initial release, Astro Bot continues to get great updates! Following last summer’s addition of five new levels, it seems likely we’ll see even more content in the future. If you haven’t played Astro Bot recently, this new release is a perfect reason to revisit it.
