Assassin’s Creed Shadows Collector’s Edition Early Access and Season Pass Removal Knocks $50 Off the Asking Price
As an ardent Assassin’s Creed fan with years of gaming under my belt and a soft spot for collectibles, I must admit that Ubisoft’s recent move has left me quite intrigued! The $50 price drop on the Shadows Collector’s Edition, while unfortunate for those who pre-ordered earlier, presents an enticing opportunity for folks like me.
Ubisoft reduced the price of the Assassin’s Creed Shadows Collector’s Edition by $50, after deciding to postpone its release from November 2024 to February 2025. Additionally, they canceled the Season Pass and early access plans that were originally intended for this game.
Through a confirmation on Discord (as reported by IGN), Ubisoft lowered the price of the Collector’s Edition from $279.99 to $229.99. This adjustment is due to the removal of the Season Pass and early access to the game, which were originally included but have now been omitted from the package.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on the 14th of February, 2025. Below, you can explore the Collector’s Edition that includes a steelbook case, an actual-size replica of Naoe’s katana tsuba, a Naoe & Yasuke statue, an artbook, a wall scroll, and two lithographs.
