In this series, we delve into a centuries-old clandestine conflict between two hidden groups, one aiming to dominate human civilization and the other striving to safeguard individual freedom. The narrative also weaves significant historical moments as characters strive to influence humanity’s future course. I find the idea intriguing.
It’s an incredible realization for me, having spent my formative years uncovering mysteries as Ezio and all, to find myself in a situation that feels like a long-cherished dream. This intellectual property transcends its reputation for stealth, combat, and the use of hidden blades. If it delivers on its potential, it could become something truly extraordinary for us devoted fans.
Showrunners promise a powerful narrative beyond the action of the IP
Patino and Weiner, fellow enthusiasts of the series similar to myself, delved into the emotional core of the game. They are interested in examining themes such as identity, faith, and interpersonal relationships. Essentially, they believe that beneath all the action, spectacle, parkour, and excitement lies the foundation for a profoundly human narrative.

Peter Friedlander, Netflix’s Vice President of Scripted Series, revealed that the adaptation has been a long time coming and is full of praise for the creative team behind it. He mentioned that the series aims to “preserve the esteemed history of the Assassin’s Creed franchise” while simultaneously enhancing the viewing experience, which leaves me eagerly anticipating it as well.
As a passionate gamer, I can’t help but feel excited about the upcoming project. With gaming veterans like Gerard Guillemot and Austin Dill from Ubisoft on board, my anticipation is sky-high. Fingers crossed that they manage to keep things authentic and avoid unnecessary, distracting content that seems more focused on social agendas than on delivering a quality gaming experience.
