Ashy Bines Claps Back at Trolls for Bali Trip and Helmet Controversy After Health Crisis!
Ashy Bines has hit back at trolls who have criticised the influencer’s current overseas jaunt.
At present, the fitness influencer, aged 35, is taking a vacation in Bali with her fellow host of the She Rises podcast, Tijana Bundalo.
However, critics are heavily criticizing Ashy for departing to Bali, leaving her husband and two kids behind.
On Thursday, Ashy shared with her Instagram followers that she prefers not to abide by someone else’s guidelines or expectations.
In my expertise, I often encounter individuals who feel overwhelmed by unsolicited advice on how to live one’s life, which can sometimes seem critical and misaligned with our personal values. These suggestions often reflect the perspectives and norms of others rather than our unique truths.
‘If you live by their rulebook, you’ll never feel truly happy or free to just be YOU.’
Later, Ashy voiced some of the comments she has been given since arriving in Bali and sharing her experiences on social networks.
While I’m in Bali, some comments I received were: “It would be better if you were with your family”; “Responsible mothers don’t leave their children during a vacation”; “What a selfish mother and partner”; “Unfortunate Steve taking care of the kids while you enjoy Bali”; “Mothers should not dress like that; she even added, ‘that’s embarrassing.’
In response, the mother of two denied the suggestion that her journey was an unfair burden for her husband Steve Evans or their kids Taj and Tala.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but extol Steve’s exceptional supportiveness and his knack for being an incredibly engaged, skilled parent. In no uncertain terms, I choose to navigate my journey and prioritize my well-being, unfettered by societal expectations.
I’ll make sure I prioritize myself, maintain friendships, take vacations, and continue pursuing my interests, even if others may judge me as selfish or a less-than-perfect mother.
In conclusion, Ashy emphasized that being a mother doesn’t mean she can’t participate in fun TikTok challenges, be open about her sexuality, freely express herself, or explore new places.
Ashy’s post drew a variety of responses from followers, with several commending the influencer for her honest approach.
One devotee put it this way: ‘Flaws make something beautiful, insanity can be a sign of genius, and it’s more desirable to be utterly extraordinary than completely mundane.’

Another chimed in with a similar: ‘You are Glowing babe!! Keep building & enjoying your best life.’
As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but share my thoughts on the recent buzz surrounding Ashy. Some fans have been critical lately, pointing out an instance where Ashy was spotted scooting around Seminyak sans a helmet this past week, which has stirred some conversation.
One spectator proposed that, given two past brain surgeries, the decision to ride a motorbike without a helmet certainly seems debatable or risky.
Replying to the comment, Ashy said her surgeries had nothing to do with her lack of helmet.
‘She wrote that her aneurysm isn’t related to biking. While cyclists often use helmets, not everyone does. Nonetheless, it’s nice to know you care.’
Over the last year, Ashy has undergone two brain operations following her diagnosis with a brain aneurysm in June.
This past week, pictures emerged on Ashy’s social media platforms, capturing moments of her friend and podcast partner Tijana Bundalo, as they explored beautiful Bali together, acting as fitness influencers.
However, the images revealed them precariously perched atop a scooter without protective headgear, neither of them equipped with helmets.
Or simply: The photos showed them riskily riding a scooter without helmets on.

Another picture additionally reveals Ashy seated on the scooter’s back, devoid of any headgear, yet radiating a wide grin.
Commenters slammed Ashy for being irresponsible.
One fan penned a reference to a quote by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., stating, “There’s nothing more hazardous worldwide than heartfelt ignorance and earnest foolishness.
It’s not exactly shocking, considering that a couple of months back, she and her latest confidante chose to dangle their lower torsos from a speeding vehicle and capture the moment on video.
Regrettably, it seems that Ashy – Peter Pan – Bines won’t stop acting foolishly until her actions lead to some sort of repercussion.
The upset commentator went on to say, “It’s hard to believe that over a million individuals would be gullible enough to admire and follow the antics of this nearly 40-year-old mother of two, who acts more like a childless 21-year-old.
In another turn of events, she enthusiastically shared: ‘Ashy Bines’, who’s had two brain surgeries recently, expressed her deep gratitude for surviving on a podcast that was released just yesterday. However, it’s worth noting that she didn’t use a helmet while riding on the back of a motorcycle not once, but twice within a 24-hour period in Bali.
‘Why are influencers this dumb? How many people have died or suffered serious injuries doing this?’

In February, Ashy, who is not hesitant about stirring up debate on social media, found herself under scrutiny once more following the upload of a TikTok video showing her leaning out of a moving vehicle’s window.
It comes after Ashy shocked her followers in March when she revealed her brain aneurysm diagnosis.
Initially, she was quickly taken to the hospital due to a sudden onset of blindness. An operation had been planned for July, but subsequently got postponed to August instead.
Ashy shared that doctors successfully took out the initial aneurysm, yet found a second one during the procedure which they couldn’t extract.
In a heartfelt video update, she shared that her operation was successful, but upon waking, she learned there was an unexpected discovery – another aneurysm had been found.
Today, they handled the initial one, however, they weren’t able to address the second one. It’s probable that I may need another operation before the year ends.
In January, Ashy once more underwent a surgical procedure. At that moment, he shared with his followers: “I’ve returned home. I have successfully survived my second brain operation and am eager to close this chapter of my life.
I am deeply appreciative of my surgeon, nurses, family, friends, and community for their unwavering strength and support during this challenging time. I cannot imagine facing such an ordeal without their help!”
I owe a great deal of gratitude to the people who stood by me during a difficult period in my life; I couldn’t have made it through without them!
