Ashley Tisdale is revisiting her early Hollywood the past.
The actress shared photos on social media Tuesday of her vibrant costumes from the popular 2006 film High School Musical, which was directed by Kenny Ortega.
It is the 20the anniversary of the film.
The 40-year-old actress, known for her blonde hair, starred as Sharpay Evans alongside Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, with Corbin Bleu playing a key supporting role.
Tisdale visited her storage unit to get some old outfits. One was a blue feathered dress paired with silver heels. She also had a look consisting of a pink top, purple skirt, and a silver jacket.
The actress shared on Instagram that even after twenty years and having two children, she can still fit into the same clothes.

Ashley Tisdale posted a video on Instagram with a caption playfully referencing her iconic ‘High School Musical’ character, Sharpay. She wrote, ‘You can take me away from East High… but I’ll always be Sharpay!’ ✨
She had the song Bop To The Top playing in the background.
Before sharing the post, she posted a series of old photos from the films, captioning it, ‘We didn’t know what this would become twenty years ago.’
‘I love you, Sharpay. And let me just say… we’re still looking fabulous!’ she continued.
High school basketball star Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) unexpectedly falls for shy academic Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens) at a karaoke night during the holidays. Back at school, they decide to try out for the school musical, but face opposition from the popular and competitive Sharpay Evans (Tisdale). Troy and Gabriella have to balance preparing for the musical with their commitments to basketball and academic competitions.
The High School Musical franchise includes three original movies, along with a spin-off film called Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure. It has also expanded into international films, a Disney+ series called HSMTMTS, and a stage musical.

This follows a recent controversy involving Hilary Duff and a mothers’ group. According to People magazine, the disagreement was due to differing beliefs and priorities.
Ashley Tisdale had a very public disagreement with several famous friends, like Hilary Duff, Gaby Dalkin, Meghan Trainor, and Mandy Moore. Now, sources are revealing what caused the conflict.
According to a source, Ashley publicly revealed that she and her friend had grown apart due to differing values. The source explained that people naturally drift apart, and the situation didn’t require a big, dramatic message to end the friendship.
I was so relieved to read Ashley Tisdale’s recent blog post! She talked about how she finally walked away from a group of mom friends that were bringing her down – she even used the word ‘toxic,’ which really resonated with me. As a mom to Jupiter, who’s four, and little Emerson, who’s just 15 months, I totally get needing to protect your own peace and happiness, even if it means leaving friendships behind.
She explained that she wasn’t prepared for how competitive and unpleasant mom groups could become. It’s not that the mothers are bad people, but the group environment can easily turn into a situation with hurtful, ‘mean girl’ dynamics – she’s experienced this firsthand.

Okay, so she basically told me there were secret group texts – like, everyone was chatting except me! And then she mentioned these ‘hangouts’ – gatherings I wasn’t cool enough to be included in. It’s just… devastating, honestly. Like they’re all living this amazing life together and I’m on the outside looking in. I need to know everything that happens at those hangouts! It’s killing me!
In a recent essay for The Cut, she shared how she began to feel left out, explaining that she initially felt like she’d found a close-knit group of friends. However, she started to question that feeling when she noticed she wasn’t included in some get-togethers – and she found out about them through photos and stories on Instagram.
I remember being at one of her dinner parties and realizing I was always seated at the very end of the table, separated from the other women. I was beginning to feel left out, and I couldn’t help but notice how they seemed to intentionally exclude me.
The actress responded to questions about her initial blog post in a new essay, criticizing people online for trying to identify the women mentioned in it.
She mentioned this topic has sparked a lot of amateur online investigation, and cautioned against it, saying people’s theories are likely way off base.
