Ashley Scott was a big star in the early 2000s as she made movie after movie with A-list stars.
One of her most popular films was the 2005 adventure movie Into the Blue, starring Jessica Alba, Paul Walker, and Scott Caan. The film follows a group of divers who unexpectedly discover a shipment of cocaine while searching for treasure.
She first gained attention as a fashion model, quickly becoming known as the ‘cute girl in the white bikini’ thanks to her amazing physique.
The Louisiana-born actor also appeared with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the 2004 film Walking Tall, which tells the story of an army soldier who uncovers corruption after becoming sheriff in his hometown.
Scott also appeared in the 2007 film The Kingdom, a thriller focusing on FBI agents working in Saudi Arabia. She starred alongside Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, and Jason Bateman.
This 48-year-old woman, known for her humorous Instagram posts, hasn’t aged a bit – check her out now!
Oh my gosh, Scott! He’s just… perfect. He was born way back in 1977, in Louisiana, can you believe it? But thankfully, he grew up in Charleston, South Carolina – it’s such a beautiful, historic place, and that’s where he really became… well, him. I just adore knowing he spent his formative years there!
After placing as a finalist in the Elite Model Look competition in 1993, she began a successful fashion modeling career as a teenager, which took her all over the globe. She famously modeled for Giorgio Red as well.
The teenaged looker modeled bikinis in Miami and also found gigs in Paris and London.
She began her film career in Steven Spielberg’s 2001 film, AI Artificial Intelligence, where she portrayed the character of Gigolo Jane.
She then landed a significant part alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in Walking Tall, followed by a role in the popular summer movie Into the Blue, where she played a character who spent a lot of time in swimwear.
In 2007 she had a role in action-packed The Kingdom from director Peter Berg.
In 2009, she appeared in the film 12 Rounds alongside John Cena, who played a New Orleans police officer working to stop a robbery.
But she also had a thriving career on TV shows.
She played Asha Barlow opposite Alba on the Fox science fiction series Dark Angel in 2001.
James Cameron’s show centers on a super-powered person created through genetic engineering. As a child, this individual managed to escape from a secret government lab.
From 2006 to 2009, she acted alongside Skeet Ulrich in the TV series Jericho. The show followed residents of a Kansas small town as they struggled to survive after a nuclear attack.
Oh my gosh, back in 2015, I was so excited when she landed a regular role on UnREAL, that amazing show on Lifetime! She played Mary, and honestly, she completely stole every scene. I knew she was destined for greatness the moment I saw her on screen!
She provided the voice for Maria in the video game The Last of Us in 2013 and reprised the role in the 2020 sequel, The Last of Us Part II.
In 2019, Scott appeared in the thriller Secret Obsession, alongside Brenda Song and Dennis Haysbert.
From 2004 to 2008, Scott was married to Anthony Rhulen, a 51-year-old producer known for his work on films like The Butterfly Effect and Raise Your Voice.
She then married Steve Hart, a 54-year-old singer from Britain and a member of the band Worlds Apart.
I was so happy when she welcomed her first daughter, Ada Bella Ray Hart, back in 2010! And then, just five years later, in 2015, she had another beautiful little girl, Iyla Vue Hart. It’s been wonderful watching her family grow.
She currently resides in Los Angeles with her two daughters.
On Saturday, she posted a cozy photo on Instagram of herself in a white robe. In the caption, she shared how much she enjoys going to a banya (a traditional Russian sauna), calling it a deeply healing practice she’s embraced over the past year. She explained that each visit feels unique and helps her feel more connected to her best self.
There’s incredible power when women connect, finding a beautiful harmony between actively pursuing their goals and letting go of control. If you ever find yourself in Topanga and are looking for profound personal growth, I’m happy to share some helpful resources. And for those located elsewhere…
